This series of abstract oil paintings came to life during the lockdown of 2020, they are Oliver's way of communicating certain aspects of personal relationships and close connections in his life.

Minimal shapes, and line forms, metamorphose into an illusionary 'working' structure. Originally, this style of separated blocks of colour came together during the lockdown in 2020 as the Non-Fiction series.
The name was influenced by our lack of complications and the blatant reality we were faced with. Today, I am curious about how the order of these forms can interact with each other to resemble human emotion or depict inner systems of disorder.
